About Mavis
Hi there, I’m Mavis! I’m a friendly, polite sort of girl who is busy learning all about pet life from the comfort of my foster home. Foster humans are the greytest!!
I’m a pretty easygoing girl who loves hanging out with my humans and watching the world go by. I get along well with kids and other dogs too, so if you have any of them I’d be happy to meet them!
A note from Mavis’ foster carer:
Mavis personality is blooming. She is extremely gentle, smart, patient and quirky. Doesn’t tug on leash at all and she will look back to check up on you, sooo cute.
She started following us around the apartment and would come in to our bedroom at night to sleep next to us on the floor. She is toilet trained, we usually take her out in the morning, afternoon (sometimes twice) and before we sleep.
She gets a bit too excited around dogs when they are running, otherwise she is steady around small dogs and children.

Adoption details
We will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
