PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING FOR A DOG

We are very concerned about the health of our volunteers and their families.
To protect them, we require you to read the following and answer honestly before any meet and greets can be organised.

IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS

Any of these symptoms, or any family member displaying, we ask you to wait before applying for a dog -

* Coughing or sneezing
* runny or blocked nose
* shortness of breath
* high temperature or fever
* sore throat
* aches or pains
* other flu like symptoms

If you have returned from overseas or been on a cruise anywhere in the world, please do not apply within 2 weeks of your return to Australia.

If you are in self isolation, please do not apply, you need to stay at home.

Thank you for valuing our carers health, knowing that a false declaration will endanger them and any future animals that we would be unable to help.

We require you to acknowledge that you have read and agree with all statements before any potential meet and greet can proceed.

Melissa is a 6 year old Mini Fox Terrier who is now looking for her forever home. She is wary of new people and will tend to bark at them until she knows them and then she is then fine. Melissa is used to living in a small, quiet household and will be extremely loyal to her human person when she has settled in. She would not suit small children.

Melissa is toilet trained, sleeps all night inside and loves her daily 30 minute walk. She is currently in foster care with 3 other small dogs and is ok with them but she would much prefer to be an only dog.
