Meet one of our first success stories as a feral cat rehab shelter - Raven! If you're looking for a cat with a special story this is the girl for you ❤
Raven came in as a full blown feral older kitten, one who had definitely been born on the street to a mum who'd never been around humans. On first impressions we believed her to be male... until the next day when we found she'd given birth! We were stunned, she was barely 4 months old! 😳
She was quickly put into foster care where she raised her little ones, then brought back to our Cat Cottage where she began her rehab journey. It was a fairly long road, with Raven spending months on top of her pen door so she could be as far away from us as possible. Slowly but surely she came around and was able to return to foster care, where with the love of her foster carers and their furfamily she has absolutely blossomed.
She's grown into a stunning and affectionate sweetheart who will be the perfect companion for a patient, loving person. She won't be suitable for a family with kids but furbabies... bring them on! She definitely wants a home with existing pets who will bond with her and help her adjust to her new home.
Maybe you have a family member who lives alone and has a little dog needing a friend? Or you're a couple in an apartment wanting to add to your furfamily? Raven will be a beautiful addition to any home who love their pets deeply and appreciate animals who've done the hard yards to get to their happy place in life ❤
* Due to Raven's past as a street born cat she will need to live indoors 24/7 in her new home.
* Raven's profile was created a year or so ago when she was still very timid and we were looking for a foster carer during Covid. We have updated that same profile as opposed to creating a new one, hence why her profile shows as being online for so long. She is now much more socialised than when it was created and ready for her forever home :)
Medical notes
Due to Raven's past as a stray born cat where survival and fear were paramount, she will need to live indoors 24/7 in her new home.
