About Disney
This is Disney, the young female wolfhound cross that was surrendered to us through no fault of her own.
Disney is about 18 months old and has had a tough start to life. She was very timid and cowered when she first arrived, wasn't able to walk on a leash and did not trust humans at all.
This has now changed, with 'a whole new world' opening up for Disney. She has discovered what it means to give and receive love and has taken up the challenge as to who can love more - dogs or humans. It's great to say that now Disney is showing that she is streets ahead and giving sooo much love - we don't mind - we love her to the moon and back.
She has shown us that she wants to learn and can now walk on a leash, sit and come when called. She still needs practice, confidence and reassurance, but she has come such a long way already.
Disney is looking for a home that will continue to improve her confidence and training. She loves cuddles and just wants to be around humans all the time now.
She likes to play with other dogs, and her current bestie is a Shih Tzu cross.
Disney requires regular brushing to keep her hairy coat in line - thank goodness she loves being brushed!!!
