About Patch ~ 6mo Cattledog x Whippet (On Trial 4/4/20)
Hi I’m Patch! I’m a 6-month-old, male cattle dog x whippet and love nothing more than following my humans everywhere they go.
I am a very affectionate boy, who loves to cuddle up on the lounge. My foster mum even says I sometimes like to think I’m a lap dog! I can be timid when meeting new people or travelling to new places, but once my humans show me every thing’s okay I am great.
I have only just learnt to walk on a lead and although my foster brothers like to pull away, I’m more than happy to walk next to my humans just to make sure they aren’t going anywhere. I am house trained and have learnt how to use the doggy door. I have also learnt to sit and shake, and I usually come when I’m called however ongoing training would be beneficial.
I currently live with a cattle x and kelpie x and enjoy chasing them around the yard when we are playing. I love hanging out with my foster brothers so would love a brother or sister at my new home that can keep me company during the day. I need to be welcomed inside when people are home but I am more than happy to sleep outside at night if that’s what you’d prefer. I definitely do love sleeping on my human's bed though when they let me!
As I’m still a puppy, I do get very excited when you come home and don’t understand my long lanky legs when I jump up, therefore I’d be better suited to a family with no small children. I haven’t been tested with cats or pocket pets.
For more information about me contact Tessa at tessa.sharp@hotmail.com . I am in foster care in Charlestown, NSW. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
My adoption fee is $500 and I am desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
