About Bella
What can we say about our dear mama Bella?
She has done an amazing job raising her babies but now it is time for her to find her own forever home and have her humans dote on her.
She is a sweet girl with a lovely heart-shaped nose who although independent, definitely likes to know her humans are not far away when she needs them. She loves to follow you from room to room to check out what you are doing and whether or not she can be involved.
Bella likes to sit on your feet and loves pats! Now that her babies have all gone she is becoming more affectionate and I have no doubt she will bond with her forever human. This is something her new humans will be able to help her with once she is settled and trusts them.
She has lived with kids of all ages but would be best suited to a home with older children or even with just one or two humans to love.
Bella really does deserve a home to call her own and to find someone who will keep her safe and build a bond with her.
🧡Adoptions During Covid-19 Pandemic 🧡
During this time of social distancing etc, we will be conducting online/Facetime Meet ‘n’ Greets initially and all carers will be following safety guidelines for actual adoptions, so that everyone stays as safe as possible.
You can use apps like Facetime, Zoom, Skype or whatever works for you and the carer.
Doing online meet 'n' greets will provide a way for both carers and potential adopters to be safe but still be able to chat and ask questions and for them to meet (see) the pets they are interested in.
If things progress to an actual adoption, we recommend that only one or two people come to collect the animal and that only the main carer is present at that time. This will keep in-person meeting times at a minimum for everyone.
Please note that all of our carers have done COVID-19 Infection Control Training via www.health.gov.au.

Adoption details
We ask that before you apply for one of our animals, you take the time to think through all aspects of having a pet in your home to ensure it is the right thing for both your family and the animal, now and in the future. Please consider how you would approach changes in your home that may affect your pet and how dedicated you would be to keeping/helping your animal when faced with any issues that may arise in the future.
If you have done this and are interested in one of our animals, please fill in our adoption enquiry form - www.cognitoforms.com/LostAndFoundPetsIllawarra1/LostAndFoundPetsIllawarraIncAnimalEnquiry
Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's profile.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in to see if it is the right match.
Before adoption, all of our animals are health checked, vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, flea/worm treated and heart worm tested (where appropriate).
