About Barney
*In foster care in Redfern, Sydney*
A beautiful senior beagle, Barney is just adorable in every way! Counting daily walks, snuffles around the garden, and snuggling in with you at the end of a long day among his very favourite things, he's a friendly boy with an incredibly sweet nature. Get ready to fall head over heels!
Like all Maggie's pets, Barney is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.
**We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/80677377750872. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.**
MY IDEAL HOME: I can't wait to spend my twilight years with a wonderful person, couple or family who will give me access to an outdoor area so I can potter around and enjoy nature - and lots of love, of course! I don't really need much more! I'm a relaxed sort of guy and will make a wonderful companion for just about anybody.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium. My foster carer takes me on morning and evening walks, which I absolutely love. During the day I enjoy exploring the backyard and snoozing in the sun.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any children since coming into foster care.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Other dogs don't really fuss me either way! I haven't met any cats yet.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/80677377750872. Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
