About Buffy Mandeville
*No further applications at this time please.
Please note: To progress further you will need to complete an adoption application form. Buffy will only be rehomed with another dog.
Buffy Mandeville is such a lovely girl. She adores affection and has so much to give in return. She is a happy pup, mild-mannered, and wants to be with you all the time, whether you’re moving around the house and doing things or just sitting and watching a movie together. Buffy loves her cuddles and pats, and wiggles her whole body out of excitement when she gets them!
Buffy has a gentle nature and loves to watch people and other dogs on the street. She even enjoys watching television as she follows the moving images on screen and barks at the dogs she sees there. She would likely be okay with other animals and older children, as although she doesn’t jump much she might accidentally knock a younger one when excited.
Buffy has lacked some training in her restricted life to date so doesn’t know how to walk on the lead, doesn’t really understand how to play, doesn’t know her name or other commands, but you can see her independent spirit in that sometimes she just wants to leave and do her own thing. She will need to be re-homed with another dog, not only for companionship, but to teach her the social skills that she’s only just learnt exist. Buffy is food motivated and could learn lots of new tricks with the offering of a favourite treat or two.
She is waiting for her permanent home where with kindness and patience she will learn more. But the most important part is already there as she is such a loving affectionate girl who will make someone very, very happy.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
