About Coconut
Coconut is a gorgeous 5 year old Greyhound X. She is a cuddle bug who wants to be your shadow and join you on all of your adventures!
Coconut is such a sweetheart, who is great with all humans and won't hesitate to nuzzle in for cuddles, belly pats and nose scratches.
She is also a social butterfly with other dogs, and gets on with breeds of all shapes and sizes. She is very polite when meeting new friends and loves to play with toys or a good old game of chasings!
Coconut is toilet trained, and great on walks. She gets a little bit excited at first, but after a few minutes will calm down and walk nicely beside you. She absolutely LOVES snacks and will do anything for a treat. Like many rescue dogs, she does require some additional manners practice and training, but due to how clever she is and how much she loves treats, she is proving very easy to train so far.
In her previous home Coconut was left alone for long hours and took to jumping the fence out of boredom. While we have not seen this behaviour since she has been in foster care, we think she would prefer to live with someone who is home more often than not, or have a doggy friend to keep her company and have access to inside while her humans are out and about.
Since being in foster care, Coconut has visited lots of places like the local cafe, doggy daycare and the dog park, and has loved all of them! She is always very happy to meet new people, dogs and explore new places. She will fit in with any home provided they give her lots of love and attention and will include her as part of the family.
Coco really is the full package. Not only is she a stunning girl, she is simply a pleasure to be around, and will make the best companion.
