About Speedy
Hi! I’m Speedy. I’m a 7-week-old kelpie. I’m one of 10 puppies known as “The Racing pups.”
My mum is a beautiful yellow cream kelpie and dad as far as we know, a red Kelpie.
Foster mum says I’m a cheeky, fun loving little boy who’s full of beans. I have so much energy, I could play all day long.
Although I love kids, foster mum says I’d be best in a home with active school aged kids so they can keep me busy. I’m a super social boy, therefore I need either an active home with a doggie sibling, or a home that will ensure I have daily socialisation.
I love to play with soft squeaky toys and I enjoy a good game of tug ‘o’ war with my siblings.
I’ve only just begun my basic training here in foster care, but foster mum tells me I’m a very clever boy.
I sleep outside in my kennel with my siblings. Foster mum & dad don’t hear a peep out of me until the morning.
I live with 4 resident cats. I’m a bit cheeky as I love to try and get the kitties to play with me. I don’t understand why they don’t like me.
Being a working breed, I need an active home. One that’s committed to ongoing training & socialisation. If that’s you then what are you waiting for? Foster mum would love to hear from you.

Medical notes
All our puppies must be desexed at around 6-months of age. This is non-negotiable.
The adoption cost includes a desexing voucher at a vet of our choice near you.

~Work commitments/how long would I be left alone?
~Why do you think I would suit your family?
~As a working breed I will need ongoing training and mental stimulation to keep me from being bored. How do you plan to meet those needs?
~Will you let me live inside and be part of the family?
~I will need additional vet work in my life time such as follow up
vaccinations etc, is this a problem?
~I will also need flea, tick and worm treatments to keep me at my
optimum health, are you prepared for that?
~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality puppy biscuits & raw, can you
guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?
A yard check or photographic proof of secure fencing, shelter & sleeping areas will be required.
Transport can be arranged at adopter cost. Volunteer transport is sometimes available towards Sydney.
