About Nudge
Nudge has been at the shelter since 21/08/2009
nudge is a clever and extremely handsome boy who has the typical nature of a working dog, intelligent and active. He is a very loyal and loving dog who is full of personality and loves lots of attention and plenty of pats. Nudge is also very playful and is more than happy to play fetch with a tennis ball for hours and hours. He will require a very secure backyard and will benefit from lots of exercise to keep his busy mind stimulated. Council's animal shelter is a cooperative approach between sutherland shire council and city of sydney council that houses dogs and cats which have been found stray, abandoned, or seized. If animals cannot be returned to its owner, the shelter seeks new homes for them. The shelter operates under a 'low-kill' policy, whereby only a dog or cat assessed to be either a danger or having an illness that would affect its quality of life is euthanased. All dogs and cats rehoused are desexed, lifetime registered, vaccinated and microchipped. They also leave the shelter with a collar and council made tag
