About Tilly
Tilly is a sweet, loving young girl who is very attentive and loyal once she gets to know you. She is affectionate, loves pats and can get very excited about life. She has shown some fear of new people, especially men. In saying that though, she will get used to them pretty quickly with a gentle and caring approach. She is not suited to a home with children.
She has a bit of a fetish for carrying things around and bringing them to you or storing them in her bed (especially shoes!), which can be quite funny and cute! But sometimes she will chew those things...not so funny. So best to just keep objects away from her reach and give her some toys of her own to chew.
Tilly is learning to walk with a lead and is a fast learner. With time she is getting better and is showing much enthusiasm. She is motivated by food for learning. Tilly is quite obedient and always comes when called, sits and hand shakes (sometimes). She is quiet, not a barker (only if feeling threatened). She does not jump or have any digging issues at all! She also has no food guarding issues.
She gets on well with other dogs and is currently untested with cats.
Tilly's favourite foods are roast chicken and carrots. She also enjoys playing with treat balls, which is also great mental stimulation. She is a slow eater which is quite funny to watch!
Tilly enjoys being indoors with her humans, but also likes to have a play outside. She is learning to fetch and run after ball.
Tilly would suit a family with a reasonable sized yard. Her energy level is medium. She's not super active and likes to lay around a lot as well.
The right owners would be gentle as she is timid at first. Also they should have time for some training. Tilly has a lot of potential and will reward you with so much love!
