About Tess
Tess is a gorgeous, happy 17month old Kelpie who is after an active family to join.
Tess is typical to her breed, alert and ready to go! She is full of energy so she will need regular daily physical and mental stimulation to keep him happy. Tess knows how to sit and is currently leaning drop “lay down”. She will sit and wait for her dinner and won’t touch it until told too. She loves to play fetch and will spend hours playing with you.
Tess is in foster care with a 2 year old Kelpie X and a 10 year Golden Retriever who she gets along with well, she does nip a bit when over excited playing. There is also 2 cats in her foster home in which Tess is fascinated with, she will follow them around and watch their every move. Humans in Tess’s foster home is 3 adults, a teenager and a 5 year old. Tess is great with everyone and loves curling up on the couch at night to snuggle with the family.
Tess is currently on a raw food diet mixed with dry kibble.
Tess must be adopted by people experience or familiar with her breed and someone who has plenty of time to meet her high energy needs. A family who will allow her to sleep inside and be apart of all family activities and be willing to attend ongoing obedience training.
If Tess will be left alone for 8 hours a day DO NOT APPLY.
If you live in a unit or apartment with a small backyard DO NOT APPLY.
Medical notes
