Digby

Hi, I'm Digby and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family is a must for me
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs - I'm happiest with small dogs like me
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• I can be shy at first so I need a family who'll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time
A quiet home where I can get used to my new home in my own time

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard for long periods of time
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Small children as they scare me

My best features:
• Love people once I get to know them
• Happy to hang out with other small dogs
• I can sit, on command
I walk well on the lead

Where I need to improve / Training required
• Unsure in new situations - more socialising is needed

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET DIGBY BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
