About Opal
Gorgeous Opal is a 6 month old Staffy/Boxer/Bull Arab mix who has found herself in Wallys Doggie Rescue care.
Opal is a huge sweetheart with some of the best puppy dog eyes her foster mum has ever seen. She has this way of putting her head down and staring at you with big puppy dog eyes and you just can't say no to her when she does this! If you pat her cheek she also likes to sink her head into your palm which is very cute!
Opal is very playful but also very calm once she has got some energy out. She is happy to laze around with her Labrador foster friend for a few hours, then they play, sleep, eat, repeat. She loves to play with toys, her favourite at the moment is a rubber sheep that she keeps throwing in the air and chasing. Like most young dogs, she is a bit of a chewer and will chew on things she is not meant to if left with no toys.
Opal is a bit of a talker! She likes to say hello when you come home, or when you walk in the room and at dinner time by barking 2-3 times which is very funny.
She is a huge lover of company and will be happiest in a home with someone who is home most of the time or a doggy friend to keep her company. She is fine to hang out with her foster doggy friend while her foster mum is at work but if for any reason she finds herself alone out the back she will go in search of someone. She is not a fan of being left alone. She is also great with people and her foster dad loves to play with her.
Opal can be a little dominant in play so her doggy play mate will need to be a bigger pup and be more confident/ dominant to teach her the right way to play.
Opal is in foster care in Lisarow on the Central Coast.

* Work commitments? How long will the dog be on their own?
* Why do you think this breed will be suitable for you? Breed type experienced owners will generally be given priority.
* Will you allow this pooch to live both inside and outside as part of the family?
* Yard check will be done to confirm you have a fully fenced secure yard and adequate shelter when the dog or pup is outdoors.
