About Liddy
*In foster care in Marrickville, Sydney*
Liddy never knew how wonderful the world could be - but after a couple of months of loving pats and scratches, warm places to sleep and delicious food to eat, he's finally living his best life!
What would really make it perfect, though, would be a special home all of his own. While he loves his foster carers and is really beginning to come out of his shell, he can't wait to settle in to his new 'forever home' and live happily ever after!
Liddy is looking for a quiet, relaxed home environment with minimal hustle and bustle. With the right introduction, he may enjoy the company of another friendly, low-key pet who won't demand too much attention or get in his face too much.
Like all Maggie's pets, Liddy is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... is one where my amazing new person, couple or family will spend lots of time playing with me and showering me with love - I'd really like to become more confident and feel more secure! I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
I'll need lots of hidey-holes where I can go and feel safe if things get loud or busy, or when visitors pop in. A home with lots of different people coming and going will not be a good match for me.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: High! Play time is my favourite time - I adore stalking and pouncing on my brother Spot, unless he gets me first! After we've used up all our energy, we have a nice big snooze together on the sofa.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm likely to do well in a home with older children who understand I need my own space, and will respect my boundaries.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Aside from my brother Spot, I'm a bit wary of other animals - but with some kind, gentle guidance and lots of patience, I think I could get along with a friendly resident pet.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
