About Spot
*In foster care in Marrickville, Sydney*
Slowly but surely, Spot is growing more comfortable with the 'good life' every day!
Very shy and worried when he came off the mean streets and into foster care, he's now a cheeky, inquisitive kitten who loves to play! He's not a huge fan of being picked up, but he does crave affection from his trusted humans - happily accepting a nice long pat or scratch while he's in snooze mode :)
Spot is looking for a quiet, relaxed home with minimal hustle and bustle. With the right introduction, he may enjoy the company of another friendly, low-key pet who won't demand too much attention or get in his face too much.
Like all Maggie's pets, Spot is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... is one where my amazing new person, couple or family will spend plenty of time playing with me and showering me with love - I'd really like to become more confident and feel more secure! I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
I'll need lots of hidey-holes where I can go and feel safe if things get loud or busy in the home, or when visitors pop in. An environment with lots of different people coming and going will not be a good match for me.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: High! Play time is my favourite time - I adore chasing my tail and pouncing on my toys and chasing them all around the floor. I also love to snuggle up with my brother Liddy after we’ve used up all our energy.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm likely to do well in a home with older children who understand I need my own space, and will respect my boundaries.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Aside from my brother Liddy, I'm a bit wary of other animals - but with some kind, gentle guidance and lots of patience, I think I could get along with a friendly resident pet.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
