ABOUT FELICIANO

Feliciano was born without eyes but that has never slowed him down.
You will find him climbing cat towers, playing in the grass in the cat enclosure, chasing balls and running on the cat wheel.

He loves his siblings [also blind] and the other cats at his foster home. Optimally, his forever home has a friendly cat or is open to adopting one of his siblings to help him develop his routine in his new home. He has also met some dogs and thinks they are okay as long as they give him space.

Feliciano will need a home without young children as he needs his people to understand that they have to watch out for him as he will often be underfoot.
His perfect home doesn't move furniture around much as he needs things to stay reasonably constant as he has to memorise the floorplan of the house so he doesn't run into things or have accidents.

He is toilet trained but he will need a patient family who help establish a solid routine with him at first as he needs to learn where the litter box is located. He loves cuddles and will want to snuggle down in bed with you but he will need pet stairs or other mobility aids to help him get there.

He needs help with grooming his long coat but will happily be brushed 🙂

He is currently recovering from a surgery to prevent infections in his eye sockets and so has a bit of a lions mane haircut but his beautiful coat will grow back in no time.
