About Sammy
Have you seen my ears? They excitedly point in all different directions because I have heard my new family is just around the corner!
I’ve lived with my foster mum and my two greyhound sisters for a while now and even before that I had a pretty good life! I was taught that coming back to my human when they call my name will get me rewards, I think you humans call this recall! I even know some tricks, and I can’t wait to share them with you!
Walking on lead is a bit new to me, but I don’t mind it – it's just another reason to stay close to my favourite human. In the past, I lived in the country, so all the noise of the city takes a bit of getting used to...sometimes I get a bit excited, but give me a reassuring cuddle and all is forgotten!
At home I love to chill out, on the couch, on the floor, on my bed, or - even better- in my foster mum’s bed! I curl up with ears up and enjoy my retirement. I don’t have any problems staying by myself for a few hours as long as I have a nice place to rest.
In the morning and evenings, the moment my foster mum calls me over for a cuddle, I lie down with her as close as possible to soak in all the love! I wish I could cuddle all day long! f you have a garden for me to roam around in, that would be lovely too.
I’ve met new people and doggies and I am their best friend within minutes! Cats and little fluffies I haven’t met yet, but I will keep you updated on how I get on with them!
If you think you might be my forever family, give me a shout. I'll keep my ears open for you!
