About Crash ~ Kelpie x Cattledog puppy (On Trial 21/3/20
Hi there! I’m Crash, an 8 week old Kelpie x Cattle Dog puppy. My name suits me well because I am always running around and crashing into things, including your heart. I love following my humans around the house and playing with my toys, brother and even the house rabbit.
My favourite pastime is to run until I cannot run anymore, then it’s TV and nap time! I love practicing my hunting skills too and am so good at sneaking up to the house rabbit, I’m not sure what to do when I get to him so usually lick his nose and run off. I am super affectionate and will always accept some cuddles and belly rubs. Still being young I can be a bit cheeky and may chew the wrong thing, but I am learning what I can and cannot chew quickly. So lots of toys please! I especially love plush squeaky toys.
I am a very clever boy and already have good name recall and know how to sit! I even sit while waiting for my food. I even know how to be a doorbell and give a few quick barks before charging to the door to protect the house and family! I am a quick learner and just want to make my humans proud. My foster family are currently toilet training me and I’m starting to get the hang of it but still have accidents sometimes.
I am such a happy and friendly boy, with so much energy and love to give! I am also so brave and get along with dogs much bigger than me so if you have a dog, I will love them too. I even like rabbits! I would love a family who will include me in their daily life, take me for lots of walks and play with me. I am happy to watch TV and hangout for a bit too.
I am going to grow into a medium sized dog and would really benefit from attending puppy training classes! I will need to have continued training too, so I don’t forget what I’ve learnt. I will also need a family that understands l need lots of exercise and mental stimulation so that I don’t get bored. Someone who has a bit of knowledge or experience with my breed would be awesome! It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time because I am a puppy and require feeding four times a day.
I am currently in foster care with 2 big dogs, my brother Bandit and the house rabbit so I’m getting lots of socialisation. When my foster family go out, I cope very well but need toys and preferably a friend to play with. I would love to be welcomed inside when people are home and be allowed to be involved in my new family's life. You will need good fencing and no small gaps and a decent size yard for me to run around in.
I'm so excited to meet my forever family!
