About Sadie
Our beautiful Sadie girl is now ready to find her furever home
Sadie came into care late last year as a new mum with young babies and a broken leg!
Unfortunately we were unable to save Sadie's leg and it was amputated.
Sadie is one of the most gentlest, beautiful girls we have ever had the pleasure of having in care.
She is calm and loving and friendly with every dog she meets. She is an amazing fur nanny and is just beyond beautiful with children.
Sadie is one of the best behavioured dogs you will meet - she walks well on a lead, sits on command, does not jump up at people - just one of the most beautiful girls you can meet.
Anyone who meets Sadie falls in love with her and we are hoping there is a family / person that will also do the same - she deserves an amazing home!
Sadie is currently with small dogs and big dogs (young and old) and plays happily with all of them and then mothers the young ones when needed.
Sadie loves to sleep in the house on a dog bed happily - she loves to be part of the family and her idea of heaven is just been with her humans and hanging out.
Sadie has no anxiety so can be home alone if her family works but would defintely need to be a part of the family when home.
We know that big breed dogs are often overlooked as an option for adoption but please apply to welcome this beautiful girl into your home - the love she will give you will be ten fold.
Medical notes
Now for some of the practical bits of adopting Sadie
* Highly recommend puppy training
* Maintain a good diet and good overall health (not overweight or a couch potato)
* Exercise regularly (walking is good; swimming is best) - playing in the backyard
* Assist or monitor Sadie with stairs - going on and off couches / beds etc
* Give glucosamine, fish oils and other anti-inflammatory supplements

Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby.
