Sweet, Snuggly Snoopy

Snoopy is a Whippet x
This affectionate little man will lap up all the love you have to offer and give you twice as much in return. He loves to snuggle up beside his humans and fall asleep there if you'll let him. And if he's not on the couch, don't even bother with a cheap, thin bed. Snoopy will have the best cushion in the house thank you!
Snoopy would make a great full time companion dog for humans or an active female canine who likes to play chasey and wrestle, or both! A Whippet cross, Snoopy is typical of his breed in that he is intelligent, energetic and affectionate. He hates cold, hard surfaces and will cry if left alone. He is prone to separation anxiety but is happy with canine company.
Snoopy likes to follow his humans everywhere, inside and out. He is learning not to jump up on people and needs patient humans to keep this up. He can also occasionally get under your feet, just because he wants to be as close as possible. He loves meeting new people, however he will bark briefly at strangers passing by.
Within a few short days after arriving at his foster home, Snoopy learnt to sit while his lead was put on and taken off and to walk very well on the lead. His recall is good, simply because he wants to be with his humans! He appears to have very little experience in cars but he sits happily in a harness. Still a fun-loving puppy, Snoopy will enthusiastically destroy a soft toy or run around with other treasures he finds in the garden.
Snoopy rests at night on a cushion at his human's feet after the initial ten or so minutes it takes him to settle. He is housetrained however he hasn't been given the opportunity to wander the house without a human. This sweet little man sleeps happily in a crate if he's exercised and settled early. He also sleeps happily outside but with a short coat, he'll need a warm jacket and a kennel for winter.
