About Mabel Wheelwright
Introducing Miss Mabel Wheelwright, daughter of Dame Permelia Wyndham. Heiress. Adventurer. Smart. And so darn cute!
This little grey spotty tabby kitten is one of the biggest personalities you will ever meet. Mabel is a resourceful, smart little cat who takes problem solving to another level. Stuck in a kitten carrier? No problem... we'll figure out how to unzip it and then adventure around the moving car on the freeway, giving our foster carer a heart attack. Need food? Easy... between the big eyes and smooch/purr technique, alternating with the high pitched squeal, Mabel makes sure she and her siblings get fed whenever they want. Mabel is into everything, doing everything and at the forefront of everything that's happening.
Do not underestimate her, just because she's a common tabby. Mabel's intelligence, good looks and athletic ability puts her right up there with the bengals for behaviour and skills. If you like Bengals but want to rescue a kitten, she is the perfect choice for you!
But Mabel has a gentle side, she loves to cuddle up in bed and groom her human's eyebrows (after patting her eyelashes) and falls asleep purring her signature throaty purr.
An all round bright young thing, Miss Mabel Wheelwright is looking for a household that needs her special touch, with humans for her to manage... is it you?

To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
