About Nala
Adorable nala is sarg’s 100th furry-orphan to be rescued and advertised for adoption on petrescue since we joined this fantastic site 12 months ago!!!! \ (before this we relied on putting up posters in local vets and petshops as well as sending emails and word of mouth about our animals for adoption. . . . . . . Boy petrescue you’ve been a godsend!!)
when nala first came into care after being rescued from our local pound she was too underweight and sick with an upper respiratory infection to be desexed but as you can see from her photos and video she’s now a happy, healthy pup thanks to her wonderful carer who has really bonded with nala after nursing her back to health over the past weeks – she’s even taught little nala to “high five”. . . . . . . Too cute!
nala is cuddly and affectionate and really loves her human company as well as that of the other sarg pups in care. She is bright and intelligent – the video below shows her on a lead for the first time and she didn’t do too badly though she absolutey hated having her photo taken - believe me we struggled to get even 2 half-decent shots! nala doesn’t have big paws so we think she’ll be on the small side of medium when she finishes growing. Being a kelpie blend nala will benefit from ongoing training and socialisation with other dogs. She will also need a good sized, secure yard and chewy toys and walks to keep her stimulated. Nala would enjoy an inside / outside lifestyle with either another dog for company and to learn from or a home where she won’t be left alone for long periods of time and get bored especially while she’s still a puppy. . If you think you’ve got the time, patience and love to bring up an active cutie-pie like nala then please contact sarg for more information and an application now!!
