About Mia ~ sweet Kelpie x Cattle pup (On Trial 10/4/20)
Introducing Mia! Mia is a gorgeous energy-filled 8 week old Kelpie x Cattle puppy. Who couldn’t resist those ears!!!
Mia is a sweet little girl who will absolutely have your heart immediately. She is very intelligent already picking up basic commands. She responds to her name and comes running when called. Mia has a very energetic nature and loves to play and run around like she’s racing. She has been well socialised with other dogs and people and is so friendly with everyone she meets. This sweet little girl is needing an active and loving family to help her grow into an amazing companion.
Mia is very human focused and loves a lot of attention. Her soft, calm nature tells me she has a lot of potential to learn. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training. It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time while Mia is a puppy as Mia requires feeding four times a day.
Mia will need a family who will welcome her inside when people are home and she has to be allowed to sleep inside at least until fully grown. Due to her coming from a place where she needed to compete for food, it would be preferred she be adopted into a family with an existing friendly, social dog that she can play with and learn the ropes from. Due to her energetic breed she won’t suit being a yard only dog as she requires lots of exercise.
As Mia is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
If you would like to meet this gorgeous little girl, please contact her carer Kourtney by email kourtneydeacon@hotmail.com or text 0404 032 676. Mia is located in Gillieston Heights, NSW (near Newcastle). You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Mia's adoption fee is $550 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms.
