About D533 Zelda
NRAS only re-homes within a 100km radius of Ballina on the North Coast of NSW.
Zelda is an 8 year old female Golden Labrador. She spent all of her life in a back yard & subsequently has not been socialised much with other dogs. She is initially reactive to some other dogs, but she did only take a day or two to get used to her foster brother Labrador & is great friends with him now. She made good friends off lead with 4 of our shelter dogs.
Zelda can be reactive to some other dogs when walking on a lead. Her best feature is that she is gentle & kind with kids. Zelda ADORES her humans & follows them around from room to room. She will be best with someone who is home most of the time. Zelda will be the most loving & dedicated companion to her humans. At 27kg, Zelda is a relatively small Labrador.
Medical notes
Zelda has had a recent dental, so her teeth are good.
She also had an X-ray on her hips and it was fine.
Zelda had a lump removed and the pathology indicated it was a mast cell tumour. The margins were clear, so no further treatment is necessary. But any future lump would need removal.
