Alexander

Alexander is a handsome lad with a lot of love to give! Hes a velvet hippo who absolutely adores his food- making it super easy to train him! He can sit, wait, drop and come. He loves playing fetch with his kermit toy and spending his days lazing about on the couch in the sun with his humans! He also loves a good game of tug! He has the best response when you get home, play bowing and spinning, whether you’ve been gone an hour or just went to get the mail! He would suit part time workers or those who work from home. Hes very chatty and will tell you if he needs a cuddle!. Hes very cheeky and is just so much fun to have around! Show him a body of water and you’ll see him showing you his doggy paddle (of perhaps his “doggy splash”)
Alexander has been around cats in foster and seems to be more settled if the cats are calm themselves. He would adjust in a home with an older, dog savvy kitty. He can be cautious in new situations and having an resident cat seemed to help with his confidence. He is a bit of a worry wart sometimes especially with bigger, bouncier dogs. Puppy school and a slow introduction can help with his social skills. He is definitely more of a lover of hoomans than of other dogs!
