About Zac ~ loving Staffy x puppy (On Trial 18/3/20)
Zac is a gorgeous 9 week old Staffy x puppy. He loves playtime and then a snuggle with you.
Zac and his sister Mirri were born in care with DRN and have been loved and raised by our foster carers after their mum came into care pregnant. They are fun loving puppies who find joy in everything they do with the human and doggo foster family.
Walking down to feed the chickens, playing tug-o-war and hide and seek are some of his favourite things to do. He's used to being around children and other dogs so his ideal home would be with a family who has another fur friend to play with.
Zac is going to be a medium-sized dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training. It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time.
Zac needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be a wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 7 years and older.
As Zac is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Zac, please contact Beth on 0423 422 783 or email Beth_73@bigpond.net.au . Zac is in the Lake Macquarie area, NSW (south of Newcastle. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Zac's adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms.

If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
