IMPORTANT NOTICE

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING FOR A DOG

We are very concerned about the health of our volunteers and their families.
To protect them, we require you to read the following and answer honestly before any meet and greets can be organised.

IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS

Any of these symptoms, or any family member displaying, we ask you to wait before applying for a dog -

* Coughing or sneezing
* runny or blocked nose
* shortness of breath
* high temperature or fever
* sore throat
* aches or pains
* other flu like symptoms

If you have returned from overseas or been on a cruise anywhere in the world, please do not apply within 2 weeks of your return to Australia.

If you are in self isolation, please do not apply, you need to stay at home.

Thank you for valuing our carers health, knowing that a false declaration will endanger them and any future animals that we would be unable to help.

Cariso is a very cheeky monkey. Sock thief, seat stealer, bench clearer and eater of bananas. He is also very sweet and affectionate. Loves a cuddle with you or another dog.

Cariso has been trained well and so sits before doors, knows his place for food, loves his crate and walks well on the lead (most of the time). Still pulling a little but that will lessen with further practice.

We know mum was a staffy but not sure of dad. He has quite long legs and snout so whether it's kelpie or pointer or something, time will tell.

Cariso has been great with other dogs of all sizes. Has met a cat and is respectful and wary. He would be best with a companion dog.

Cariso needs to be included in day to day activities. When he's locked outside he'll climb on tables etc. to see inside the windows to where his humans are.

His adoption fee reflects the training required.
