About Luna DL2418
If you’re looking for a bundle of fun, look no further! Luna is a lively, loving girl who adores her treats and toys.
Luna loves adventure, going camping and exploring, and playing with water. She has lots of energy and would love an active household. She is very well behaved indoors, sits nicely on her bed, and will sit quietly with you while you chill and binge on netflix!
She happily snoozes in the sun after a good long walk to start the day and she will need this consistent exercise. She is most comfortable with someone who is home more often and will enjoy her company around the house.
Luna loves her food and is happy to come and clean up the crumbs on the kitchen floors and any plates she finds... who needs a dishwasher, anyway?!
Luna is good with kids 10+, and would do well with a calm dog friend at home, however doesn't seem too keen on cats. On lead, she can be reactive to other dogs, so she will need someone experienced who can work to continue her socialisation training.
Luna does need a carer who will be able to attend her medical appointments and who will be patient in caring for her medical and incontinence needs.
She is an all-round sweetheart who deserves the very best care. If you'd love to help Luna, she is looking for a foster home... and can be fostered with the view to adopting when you undoubtedly fall in love.
Medical notes
Luna is waiting on surgery for her ureter and kidney which aren't functioning as they should be. First, she is completing a round of medications and then will return to our vets for further testing to decide the next steps in her treatment. The cost of her necessary vet work while in foster care, is covered by our rescue.
In the meantime, Luna does experience some urinary incontinence. You will need to be compassionate and patient and wipe up after her (what's a little pee between friends?!).
