About Larry
Larry was found up a tree on at a busy intersection. At such a young age, he still had the brains and street smarts, to climb a tree and stay put until a passerby rescued him.
Since then, life has been a circus for Larry (named after comedian Larry David).
His foster mum says he is a 'spritely soul' and is as funny as he is affectionate.
Trying to take photos of Larry was a challenge as he constantly wants to headbutt and rub against your leg, face, arm, bag and pretty much anything else he can get in contact with, all the while purring loudly from his tiny body.
His coat is divinely soft and his temperament angelic. He is gentle when playing and will follow you around the house and relishes company. He would be great with another cat too as he does like having a friend.
Adoption details
Once your fur friend is chosen, prospective adopters will fill out an adoption application and arrange a date for us to do a home visit. The purpose of the visit is to make sure that the environment is appropriate and that the animal is the best match for you.
We prefer that our adoption cats and kittens should be indoor animals, with occasional, supervised outside access where appropriate. The reason for this is to minimise the impact on native wildlife and to make it less likely that the animal comes to grief through motor vehicle impact and exposure to FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) through cat fights. Our adoption fee is $240, which is a non-profit amount covering desexing, microchipping, first F3 vaccination, flea and worming treatment and transport.
