Rogue ~ on trial 14/3

Meet Rogue of the X-Men litter. Daughter of Mystique, sister of Raven and Phoenix. Rogue is a 7 week old, female, domestic short hair kitten. If you look very closely, Rogue has beautiful dark-brown markings throughout her black fur, like a wildcat! We suspect her mum may have some Bengal in her.

Rogue came into care at 5 weeks old. While not a lot is known about this brave, super-hero family, their mum was certainly a family pet at some point.

Mystique has done an excellent job of teaching her kittens how to use the litter tray, eat wet and dry food and to love people. Rogue is now ready to go out on her own to her forever home.

Rogue has been in foster care with an 8 month old Cavoodle puppy and has had plenty of human visitors come to play and give her a cuddle. Everyone who has come to visit the kittens, always end up falling in love with Rogue. Friend’s of Rogue’s foster carer say this is because she is the calmest, cuddliest kitten of the three.

Rogue isn’t immediately as outgoing as her brother and sister, perhaps because she is the smallest of the three. She likes to sit and think about things before she does them. While her siblings are zooming around the room, Rogue sits and watches them happily, joining in once she understands the game.

She is also very happy to sit and play on her own, while her brother and sister are rough-housing. She loves to play with interactive dangling toys, pounce on rolling balls, chew on feathers and climb her cat tree. She also loves to sit in shoe boxes, looking super cute.

Rogue would love to have a snuggly, open bed to sleep on, and a home where she can live indoors, relax and be loved.

Rogue is a friendly, gentle, quiet and cuddly kitten who is dog and cat friendly. She would, however, suit a home with older children as she does not like sudden loud noises or rough handling.

Rogue will be vaccinated, microchipped and desexed which is all included in her $250 adoption fee. Rogue will be ready to go from 11 March. Due to having to wait to be desexed until she is older, she can only be adopted within the Newcastle, Central Coast, Port Stephens, Hunter area.
