About Bailey
Introducing Bailey. 💗💗💗
This very special and beautifully natured boy is a one-year-old border collie mixed breed. Bailey is looking for a “Foster with a view to adopt” type home where our rescue can continue to support him in his rehabilitation. Time and patience are what Bailey needs as he takes time to warm up to you. He does not need pity, but someone who will have his back. Bailey doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and is truly a gentle soul who captures the hearts of all who meet him. This gem of a dog really wants to trust. Bailey absolutely LOVES other dogs.
Bailey is scared of humans and will avoid people if he is able to. He has been learning to trust here in foster care with many other dogs to guide him. Although fabulous for Bailey in so many ways, this prevents Bailey from wanting to interact with people more. Bailey needs a special someone with one young playful dog and a secure yard to keep him safe. We would prefer a quieter home with no young children as sudden noises do startle him. As Bailey loves to sleep inside, we are searching for a home which will allow him to come inside and be part of the family. He does not soil in the house, but will need to be taken outside on lead to do his business which he accepts.
Bailey loves riding in the ute dog cage. So much so, he is happy to jump in to go for his walks, and to come back home again (as long as his dog buddy does too). He loves walking off lead at the beach and in the bush with his doggie siblings. He is slowly getting used to water and learning to enjoy it.
Bailey is a joy to have around and watching him slowly come out of his shell is incredibly rewarding.
If you think you can offer Bailey the home he needs, then we’d love to hear from you. ☎☎
