About Luna
Luna is adorable and the perfect pet in almost every way & she is easy to fall in love with. She is housetrained, she sits for getting the lead on, and for her meals. She is great with the toddler, and loves other dogs. She unfortunately also loves the cats and wants to play with them - even if they don't want to, which is incredibly cute when they are the 7 week old kittens that she is licking and nudging.
Luna is good on the lead but for jogging will be better off-lead as she likes to smell things too much! She wants to say hello to everyone - animal or human, and to be honest, everyone who meets her adores her.
She was surrendered by her last family when they moved, but she was obviously loved. She thinks the couches are for her, as is your bed, until you tell her otherwise. Her keenness to please means she's easy to train, and she has good recall.
Luna however does not like being left alone; she has separation anxiety. She has started medication to manage this anxiety, and she is being crate-trained. This means that at the moment we believe that the best home for Luna is one where she will be with another family dog, and where people are home more often than not. She would also be a perfect dog to take to work, which she has done in her foster home. Currently she is left at home inside using these techniques, but a home with a secure yard is a must.
