About Addy
Meet Addy,
This little dude arrived into care a few months back after being seized by a ranger in rural NSW due to extreme neglect. Addys fur was matted, his nails were long, his teeth were rotten, he had skin infections and was very underweight.
Addy has come leaps and bounds since arriving into care but he still has alot of work ahead of him.
Addy is a good boy who knows how to sit, will sleep in his crate and is toilet trained. He is also currently being muzzled trained.
Addy is a pretty chilled boy who just spends most his day chilling out. He will happily go on a short walk but all the new sounds and smells can be a bit overwhelming for him.
Addy does love his toys and will play fetch and throw his toys around. He isn't a fan of giving them back though!
Due to Addys neglect before arriving into care he does have some not so pleasant behaviours that we are currently working on with a trainer.
Addy would be best suited in a home with no kids under 16. Addy has met a puppy that was a bit smaller than him, which he seemed excited to play with. He met 2ox medium sized dogs but was quite scared by them.
Addy gets scared by new people and situations which can cause him to react by simply shaking or growling or the extreme of biting.
We are looking for a new foster home or a foster home with view to adopt.
Medical notes
Addy has some arthritis in his back legs but this doesn't stop him from having a play.
Addy is on medication to reduce his anxiety.
