About Dusty
Dusty arrived earlier this year with triplet brothers, Ghost and Wolfie. While Ghost and Wolfie have found their forever homes, Dusty is eagerly awaiting his. Approaching 6 months old, Dusty is microchipped, neutered, and up to date with his vaccinations, flea, tick and worming treatments. With his silver striped fur and extroverted personality, he has had everyone in stitches. Whilst we have loved his company and interactions with the other cats, we’d love nothing more than for him to have a family of his own. He is very playful and friendly towards other cats, so would suit a home with children or young cats he can play with.
Adoption details
Once your fur friend is chosen, prospective adopters will fill out an adoption application and arrange a date for us to do a home visit. The purpose of the visit is to make sure that the environment is appropriate and that the animal is the best match for you.
We prefer that our adoption cats and kittens should be indoor animals, with occasional, supervised outside access where appropriate. The reason for this is to minimise the impact on native wildlife and to make it less likely that the animal comes to grief through motor vehicle impact and exposure to FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) through cat fights. Our adoption fee is $240, which is a non-profit amount covering desexing, microchipping, first F3 vaccination, flea and worming treatment and transport.
