Storm arrived into our care on a very stormy night in Melbourne. She and her brothers (River and Flame, also listed on Pet Rescue and adopted respectively) had been found hiding in an abandoned car. They were very frightened and very, very hungry.
Like her brothers, Storm took to the safety and security that foster care offered right away. But of the three siblings, Storm was definitely the most cautious about people.
Fast forward to today and Storm has become a very pretty and fluffy calico girl who has shown her playful and fun side.
Although still wary of strangers to start with, once you get Storm on her own she loves to be patted and will purr up a storm just like her name suggests! She also loves a good butt scratch and will happily rub her head and spine on your hand to encourage you to keep patting her.
Storm is not fond of being picked up, but she will lay right next to you on the lounge and fall asleep as you pat her. Storm would be a wonderful companion for a little girl or boy to grow up with. She is a loyal kitty who is very patient and sweet. There’s no hissing or scratching from this girl.
Storm shows her best side when she is the only kitty, so we wouldn’t recommend bringing Storm in to a home that already has a cat or older kitten. She is currently untested on dogs, but could possibly do well in a home with a small dog if she is introduced slowly over time.
Storm is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and has been treated for fleas and worms. She is well litter trained and very tidy. She is not a very vocal kitty and she is not demanding of attention or at mealtimes.

Adoption details
HOW TO ADOPT FROM US:
1. Email dandycatrescue@yahoo.com and request an adoption form to be sent to you, fill it out and return it to us. We’ll be in touch!
2. Call us on 0413 938 250 for more information about your kitty of choice.
3. If your application is successful, we’ll make arrangements for you to visit our cats and kittens at our foster carer’s home
4. If your adoption is successful we ask that you pay the nominated fee to us in cash or via online bank deposit either at the adoption day or at the home visit. We do not accept eftpos, credit or debit card transactions at this stage.
5. You will be provided with a folder of paperwork for your new kitty which will include a Central Animal Records Change of Ownership form that must be completed and paid by you ($15 fee applies) no later than four weeks after the adoption.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
