Lenny is a very affectionate, friendly, people-loving kitty who prefers the company of humans over other pets. Lenny will be your best friend – a furry companion to share space with on the sofa, to cuddle up to in bed and to share all your thoughts and dreams with (he’s a great listener!).

Lenny arrived in our care after being found in a cardboard box that was dumped in the Police Paddocks at Endeavour Hills. This experience has made Lenny stick very close to his person. Lenny will wander around the house after you – not in a clingy way, more to just be sure he knows where you are in case you’ll stop to give him some attention.

Lenny is still an active boy, but being a slightly older kitten he has developed his personality. So while he does still have bursts of energy where he will chase the laser light dot or pat a ping pong ball around on the tiles, he mostly wants to just hang with people and soak up the love and attention.

Lenny would make a great buddy for a child needing to boost their confidence or to find comfort in. While is not a big fan of being picked up, Lenny responds really well to being patted and he will happily fall asleep on or next to you. And as the weather cools, Lenny is seeking out a warm lap and a warm place to sleep even more.

Lenny has been in foster care with other kittens his age and older cats, and he does get along with them very well. He is untested on dogs and we would not recommend him going to a home with a dog/dogs.

Lenny needs a stable home, one where he can finally relax and know he won’t be abandoned. Because he bonds deeply with people, we want Lenny to have the security he so desperately craves.
