Lettie

Hi, I'm Lettie and I'm waiting at the shelter for my new family to come and take me home.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• Lots of love and attention

Things that I don’t want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard for without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs & livestock
• Small children due to my bouncy personality - I may accidentally knock them over and scare them.

My best features:
• LOVE people
• I can sit & shake hands
• I am housetrained
• I LOVE toys

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be a bit bouncy -training should stop this
I don't know how to walk on a lead - I drop to the ground and won't move. I really need someone who'll be patient and teach me that going for a walk is a fun thing to do.
I can be nervous in new surroundings - going to lots of new places should help me overcome my fear.
