About Lola ~ stunning 1yo Whippet x (On Trial 15/3/20)
This sweet girl is Lola. Lola is a 1 year old Whippet cross. This affectionate little pixie (weighing in at a whopping 11kg!) is looking for an active family to call her own.
Lola has good manners and has basic commands. She has learnt to wait for her food… and boy does she love her food – all the better for training! This smart girl will be great at learning tricks and would excel at agility work. She loves to get out and about and walks well on a lead. Lola is also fully crate trained.
Lola lives with several other whippets now, but those guys are too lazy for her. She would like a more active fur buddy (maybe just one) to play with. She is social with other dogs, but as with some whippets she can be rough when she plays.
Lola can get a little anxious when left on her own so having someone at home who only works part time would be good. She is still a bit nippy (but is working hard on this!) so would not be suited to young children.
Lola is used to sleeping inside and would need to be fully included in her new family's life. As any whippet owner would know, they won’t accept anything less than the lounge! She is a lovely girl to have around the house.
Lola would not be suited to cats or pocket pets and she will need secure fencing.
This petite girl is a bundle of love waiting for the right home.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
