About Wendell ~ medium sized Staffy x, 6yo
Wendell: 6 year old Staffy x. Who doesn’t love a Staffy, especially one as handsome as this young man? Meet Wendell, the perfect little gentleman. This little cutie has a beautiful, gentle nature and is a big sook.
Being very food motivated and eager to please, Wendell is a delight to have around and will make a great addition to any family. Wendell sits, shakes on command and would definitely not be labelled a fussy eater. Like any Staffy on a lead, Wendell pulls a bit and needs reminding to slow down and stop every now and then.
He’s always been an outside dog, so far as toilet training goes, he knows he has to sit on the mat or bean bag when he’s inside and needs to go out. Being a bit of a water baby, Wendell loves baths and his little shell pools and swims in them all year round. He can’t jump & doesn’t like heights, but he certainly loves cuddles & pats and is good with people & kids. Storms don’t worry him, but Wendell’s only downside is he can be a bit of a bolter if he gets out. Some positive reinforcement training will teach him to come when called.
Wendell gets along very well with other dogs (even though he gets a bit over excited when initially meeting them) but cats are an unknown at this point in time.
With his smooth coat that can easily be cared for with just a bath and the occasional brushing, Wendell is very low maintenance. Wendell would be happy as an only dog given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but wouldn’t mind sharing the love with other dogs in the home.
If you feel you can provide this deserving dog a loving, permanent home, please contact Nora on 0418 402 150 or email dogrescuemudgee@gmail.com. Wendell is located in Mudgee, NSW.
Wendell is de-sexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email to receive an Adoption Questionnaire.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well, we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member. The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
