About James ~ Italian Greyhound x puppy (On Trial 8/4/20
James is a sweet 4 month old Italian greyhound mixed breed puppy. He is a happy, energetic puppy, who loves his foster siblings.
James enjoys being inside or outside - usually wherever the toys, or his siblings are. He loves squeaky toys and to play and nap and then play and nap again. James will need to go to someone who has an energetic playful dog who he can wrestle together with and then nap side by side.
James will grow up to be a medium-size dog. He is already very clever- he sits for his meals and is learning shake. James is toilet trained and able to use a dog door.
As a puppy, James still needs someone patient to help with his manners. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
James needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He currently sleeps inside in the bedroom with his siblings and foster parents without incident.
As James is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet James, please contact Serena at Serena.obrien@outlook.com . James is in Wyoming, NSW (Central Coast). You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
James' adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms.

(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
