About Darna
Darna has come a long way since she arrived into foster care.
The dog that used to run around you in circles when taken for a walk now walks beside you, excitedly I must admit, but she doesn't pull, she is just excited to be taken for a walk.
The dog that was too scared to even set foot in the house, now happily uses a doggy door and would prefer to be inside and not outside.
The dog that didn't know what a treat was now takes one ever so gently from your hand.
So yes Darna has come a long way but she is still a very shy, timid girl, especially when experiencing anything new. Darna will take a while to feel comfortable in her new home and will need an understanding family to take the time to get to know her and build her confidence.
Darna is best suited to an adult household (no small children), a home with another calm gentle dog to show her the ropes, that she can learn from and come to understand that new things are OK.
So if you have time, patience and the understanding that she will take sometime to settle into her new home then Darna might be the right girl for you, she really is sweet and gentle soul.
Darna is located on the NSW Central Coast.
