About Mathew
Mathew hasn't had much training in his short life, but what he lacks in manners he makes up for in enthusiasm. He so wants to be somebodies best friend, & he tends to get very excited when he thinks somebody will be...& it doesn't always work!
He needs some one with experience with big dogs, not necessarily greyhounds, but large dogs who have not had the chance to learn how to manage their size & strength in a manageable way.
Mathew is not your typical lounge lizard of a greyhound, in fact he is the opposite, he loves to run (in an enclosed yard) loves to play with balls & toys, loves to go for long walks (he actually walks well once the excitement has worn off) & loves hanging out with people.
He has never raced & still has puppy brain, which is why he can be a handful as he LOVES every body & wants to show you how much!
Mathew will do best in a home of his own, with no other pets or small children, as he is larger than life & he does demand & deserve a lot of attention.
Adoption details
If you would like to adopt a country pet there are a few requirements.
A chat with the foster carer is the first step to determine if the pet is the right one for you and your lifrstyle. A yard check while having a meet and greet is the next step and if all is satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the foster carer.
