About Lucifer
Hi, my name is Lucifer, I’m a young, energetic male looking for an adventurous, loving and patient family to call my own.
I am a big, bundle of love who likes nothing more than hanging out with my family especially the kids (they drop food and give me lots of cuddles).
I love to go for walks and I am getting really good on my lead - I am very social and just love to do things! But practice makes perfect so don't hesitate in wanting to take me for a walk each day!
I can follow commands easily as my foster mum says I’m very smart and very capable of learning more if you have the patience to teach me (I can sit and drop - i'm working on stay but it's just too tempting to follow you when you ask me to stay - what if it's something really really exciting your doing??)
I am okay in the house by myself, I do like to destroy my toys from time to time and there may have been an accidental death of a shoe but as I'm still a pup I'm working on it.
I love playing with toys - balls are a favourite of mine - I love to explore in the garden and enjoy play time.
I am good with other dogs (but like all little dogs I can sometimes have little dog syndrome when it comes to big dogs)
I am GREAT with kids - nothing beats a outside time play with them. But i will confess I am not cat friendly - if they run I will chase them!
I do have one thing to advise and i promise I am working on it - I still need to be reminded to go outside from time to time for the toilet - but some patience with me and I will be as good as gold in no time. I am good at using the doggy dog to get outside but not always to go to the toilet.
I would love a family who have the time to spend with me, teach this older but not old dog some new tricks.

Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated)

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
