About Barney ~Border Collie x puppy (On trial 20/3/20)
Hi, I’m Barney! I'm a 6 week old Border Collie x Staffy puppy. I’m a very outgoing and confident puppy with lots of energy to find out about the fun stuff in the world. I love to wrestle and play with my litter mates and also meet the other bigger dogs.
I’m learning how to train with food and it’s fun. I should grow to be medium to large my foster mum thinks and will need secure fencing and adequate room to run around. My new family will also have to have a good understanding of the mental and physical stimulation needs of my breed, and the importance of continuing to work on my training and socialisation to allow me to develop into an awesome all-round dog. I am still learning all my basic manners so Puppy School would be great for me.
I would need another dog at home with me so I have company during the days, along with all the other social things us dogs need to succeed in life. It is also important for me to be a part of your family so being inside when you are home would be good. We have had a great start with meeting cats, chooks and other dogs here on the farm.
If you like to train with dogs and think I’m the one for you, please send an email in and we can meet!

(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
