About Karma
Karma, Karma - she's such a charmer! What a lovely lady this american staffy girl is. So sweet, very loyal and partially trained - she would make the perfect addition to most family dynamics. Through no fault of her own, Karma has come into SAFE, Karratha care as she cannot follow where her previous owner has gone.
She is currently fostered with a loving and gentle human foster family who already have a tan coloured dog (they look like Mum and Son!) and 2 young children. Karma can be quite submissive, her ears are always back as if she is frightened of getting something wrong. She has sparkling amber eyes and you can see that she just wants to trust you and please you. She's also been known to growl at other dogs if they come near her food.
Karma is a few years old and looks like she's had pups in her time. She has been microchipped and vaccinated and is currently on heat so her desexing operation will wait til she's off heat. She is a gorgeous mix of egyptian black eyeliner and tan with a white patch on her chest and foot. She is really healthy looking, beautiful white pearly teeth and a shiny, soft coat.
Karma knows a few simple commands such as sit, lay down and stay and when given treats she is so delicately gentle taking food from her favourite human hands. Karma seems very maternal - she likes to look after things. She is great with kids and good with dogs though if other dogs give her grief, Karma will stand her ground. Karma has never been taught to play with humans (fetch or tug-of-war or chase) but she knows she loves her human siblings company - straight up. She follows them everywhere.
She is IN LOVE with her canine foster brother, Forest, and they puppy play, play, play all day and sleep near each other at night. Forest likes to bark at passers by and Karma just stands by him in her fully supportive role. She would make a very loyal, alarm dog. She is wary of strangers but she can sniff out genuine kindness immediately and has never shown any aggressive tendencies toward humans.
She loves the water but is really not keen on the garden hose - she's frightened of that. She is great on the lead and loves going out for walkies. She travels in cars well. She is house trained and is food orientated so you would be able to train Karma easily. She's now a stunning Pilbara treasure and she is here for you, ready and waiting. She would love to be adopted by an adventurous, outdoorsy family with lots going on - lots of pats, lots of cuddles, lots of love.
