About 2214/2215 - Jasper & Blossom
🌸🌸 MEET Jasper & Blossom 🌸🌸
Hello, we’re Jasper and Blossom – two of the closest siblings you’ll ever meet. But that doesn’t mean we don’t like exploring the world separately too! Our confidence grows with each passing day.
When we first came into care, there was some confusion surrounding our genders but of course the vet had our backs and thus Jasper and Blossom became our names. Our foster mum felt a little silly after that. We don’t hold it against her, we’re not fond of holding grudges.
At first, we were cautious of our new home as neither of us were used to a warm bed, food on tap and constant, unconditional love. Receiving unconditional love from our foster mum has helped both of us to grow into more confident kittens and ideally both of us need fur-ever homes with people who know how to be patient with us.
Initially we’ll both need some time to adjust to our new fur-ever homes, but once we get passed the initial adjustment period, with your love and understanding, we should be just fine! Being picked up and held is a concept we’re still getting used to and we’d love for you to show us how to better enjoy it! You could always use dine treats to help us understand, dine treats are our favourite.
In our foster home we live with other cats and dogs. The other cats don’t bother us too much, we’re genuinely curious about them. We haven’t had the chance to officially meet the dogs yet. With the right slow introductions, both of us should be fine with either.
Kids? We will need a home with pet savvy children as we’re still learning.

Medical notes: Jasper and Blossom have been exposed to the feline corona virus which is a common virus that cats are exposed to. Cats that contract corona virus are asymptomatic or have mild diarrhoea. There is a small chance that corona can mutate into Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), which is a fatal feline disease. Risk can be reduced by making sure your cat has regular health checks and vaccinations, high quality nutrition, keeping cat numbers in the house low and attempting to keep the environment as stress free as possible.
Jasper & Blossom were exposed to cat flu, which is a respiratory infection. They did not show symptoms and were given the all clear by a vet.
Perth Rescue Angels recommends Advantage, Advocate, and Drontal from Bayer for all your new furry family members' flea and worming needs.
