Maggie

Maggie is a very sweet and affectionate dog who absolutely loves being around people. She is a small-medium size dog at around 20kg and is great around children of all ages. She is keen to please and is easy to train as a result.

Maggie has learnt several commands including ‘sit’ ‘lie down’ and ‘go to bed’ with ease. She is house trained and only goes to the toilet when outside. She is both an inside and outside dog but prefers to be in where the family is.

Maggie has a fairly low energy level and likes to nap. She walks very well on the lead, doesn’t chew things or bark much.

Maggie isn’t very interested in playing with other dogs and would be ideal as an only dog. If her adoptive family have a dog already a slow introduction with space to separate the dogs may be necessary, so that she can slowly adjust. Maggie is untested with cats but lives harmoniously with pet rats who are in a cage.

Overall, Maggie is a well behaved, affectionate dog with lots of love to give.
