About Bob
Hello potential new family! My name is Bob and I’m an 8 year old Pug x Cavalier King Charles
I may be middle aged but don’t let that fool you, I have the energy and personality of a pup less than half my age. I absolutely love getting outdoors, exploring the world and smelling everything that it has to offer. However, my lead walking skills do requite a little improvement, so I need a family with time and patience, that is willing to help me learn.
The only thing I love more than a cuddle is exploring in the backyard - my foster mum says i crack her up as she says my head goes down my bum goes up and my tail looks like it will fall off with the wagging it does!
Now (I’m sorry, but it’s important) for the serious stuff. I realise I have big, soulful brown eyes, an adorable face and people fall in love with my devilish good looks at first sight, but my new family will need to understand that i am from time to time if i can't get outside i will piddle in the house - so ideally a dog door that you can show me and teach me would great!
I also have some allergies to grass so my little feet get itchy and i lick them - if i can be washed in a malaseb wash i'm happy.
I think I’d be great for a family with children, as my high energy will keep the kids (and me of course) very entertained! And i would also then have soooo many choices of who can give me cuddles and scratch my chest!
I get along great with other dogs and enjoy saying hello to my fellow dog friends when we’re out for a walk
Before you go, there are a couple more great bonuses about me. More you say? I know, how could I get any better? As much as I love playing and running around, when it’s time to relax I love curling up next to my hooman for a good snooze and I’m cat friendly.

Please note Bob has a heart murmur grade 3 - no medication is required but yearly check up would be required.

Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated)

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.

AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
